I've been experimenting with air bottom boards for quite a few years and think that there is much promise in there design. Its this kind of thinking outside the box that the sport has needed to take it to a new level in board design! Interested in adjustable rocker or Flex designs? Give me a call.

@ Adam

I dare you to tell Bruce Mckee "All good surfers know that a thruster is the better board and quads have a limited type of waves you can actually make them work in."

Hes got 20 plus years of work to say otherwise.
An for the record they do work in any kind of waves. clearly the ones you have tryed if any had the wrong fin placement or fins. Just because the top 44 aint using them doesn't mean alot. Truth be told most of the moden short boards have been copys of what kelly was riding. and hello hes on quads too!

keep getting weird! i totally back it! surfing is about pushing it and exploring all options. who better to test and tweak out stuff than KS? nobody really around his caliber on the tour except some of the other CI guys(rob/dane) seem to be trying anything really different or weird. just doing the same boring stuff on the same 6 shortboards... besides its from those weird shapes that things are learned and ideas are refined that have merit or are just really fun and end up trickling down into the line. if it wasn't for the CI team getting weird, i wouldn't have one of my most favorite boards ever the biscuit that has turned the crappiest junk wave days into a great time every time. keep it going guys, people hate ya cuz they aint ya...

i think there just gunna keep hackin up blanks and makin weird boards until eventually it leads them back to your average short board shape. there at that point now that there taking alot away and not getting much in return. what is the "Chunnel" gunna do to revolutionize surfing? nothing but put us back on our magic trusty thrusty.

Kelly could ride anything from Lay's potato chip to a 10ft soft top and rule Pipe with it. Having him test out this board honestly is pointless.. he will make it look like the next best thing no matter what. Pass it down to the local groms and see what happens..
